Jolene Ackerman, B. Kin

Coach

Welcome to OPEX Regina, I'm Jolene.

I may look young but I have a lot of experience under my belt with coaching clients. I am also a graduate of the University of Regina with a degree in kinesiology, CSEP-CPT certified, and have my GGS Women’s Health Coaching Specialist Certification.

When you work with me we sit down together to create you a plan that works with your busy schedule. I want you to master the skills you need to build health habits in movement, nutrition, and lifestyle so you can use them in your 20s, 40s, 60s and beyond.

My primary focus is working with women who want to better understand their bodies through the transitional phases of perimenopause and post-menopause. The unique challenges that come with this stage of life can be overwhelming and it's my goal to help you manage symptoms while getting stronger. We do this by giving you a better understanding of the physiological changes that are happening and how to support them through nutrition, weight lifting, and lifestyle changes.

I also have extensive experience with back injuries and how to build a program to manage pain and mobility. My own back pain journey has allowed me to discover that movement is the best medicine for managing pain and getting stronger.
