Classic & Hearty Slow Cooker Chili

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds organic, grass-fed ground beef (I used 80/20 but you could use leaner/fattier if you’d like)

  • 1 yellow onion, chopped

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 16oz can organic red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 16oz can organic white cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 28oz can organic diced tomatoes, not drained

  • 1/4 cup organic tomato paste

  • 2 1/2 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large stovetop pan sautee the onion in olive oil until translucent. Add in the ground beef and cook until beef is browned.
